What Counts as an Emergency?
An emergency is any issue that:
• Poses a risk of damage to your property
• Prevents normal use of your home
• Creates a safety or security risk
Examples of emergencies:
• Water leaks or burst pipes
• Electrical failure or burning smells
• Blocked drains causing overflow
• Lock failure or inability to secure your property
• Structural risks (cracks, falling elements)
Not classed as emergencies:
• Cosmetic or decorative issues
• Routine maintenance
• Planned renovation work
• Wear and tear, improvements or upgrades
Non-emergency work can still be booked at member-only discounted rates
